    F&O Watch for Feb 29: Vodafone Idea, GMR Airports likely to enter ban list

    Indus Towers (84.63 percent) and SAIL (80.11 percent) have been placed on the National Stock Exchange’s futures and options (F&O) ban for trade on February 29.

    These stocks are prohibited in the F&O sector because they have exceeded 95 percent of the market-wide position limit (MWPL).The ban is reversed only if the open interest falls below 80 percent.

    Possible Entrants

    Vodafone Idea (94.32 percent), GMR Airports Infra (92.48 percent),PNB (87.16 percent), Bandhan Bank (86.13 percent),Hindustan Copper (84.91 percent),Tata Chemicals (83.84 percent),NMDC (83.23 percent) and Biocon (80.70 percent) may enter the ban list as these stocks are hovering near the 95 percent MWPL.

    Technicals
    - Vodafone Idea has plunged 7.14 percent over the last month.The stock has been trading below its 20 DMA and 50 DMA but above its 200 DMA.

    - GMR Airports Infra has surged 7.99 percent over the last month.The stock has been trading below its 20 DMA,but above its 50 DMA and 200 DMA.
