Why Supreme Court did not order CBI or SIT probe into Adani-Hindenburg case

The Supreme Court decided against ordering a SIT or CBI probe into the Gautam Adani-Hindenburg Research controversy. Instead, the court directed Sebi to complete its investigation into alleged violations by Adani group companies. The court expressed skepticism about the authenticity of the OCCRP and Hindenburg reports on stock manipulations by Adani group. It upheld the validity of FPI regulations and rejected conflict of interest allegations against the SIT members. The court emphasized limited intervention in Sebis regulatory framework and advised examining legal infractions by Hindenburg report.
