The James Webb Space Telescope recently observed a patch of sky in the universe and ended up capturing over 45,000 galaxies in a single frame. But what was it like when that first light flickered from the Big Bang? said Marcia Rieke, a co-lead of the JADES program. Webb's data revealed 717 young galaxies, which turns out to be higher than previous predictions, and all of them already spanned thousands of light-years indicating the fast pace of evolution of the universe.
