The Indian Premier League (IPL) Will Return To Its Original, Pre-COVID-19, Home-And-Away Format In The 2023 Season, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly Has Told The State-Affiliated Council.

The IPL Has Been Held In Only A Few Venues Since The Outbreak Of COVID-19 In 2020, With The Tournament Being Held Behind Closed Doors In Three Locations In The United Arab Emirates - Dubai, Sharjah And Abu Dhabi. Also In 2021, The Tournament Was Held In Four Places: Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai And Chennai.


However, With The Pandemic Under Control, The League Will Return To Its Old Format Of Each Team Playing One Home Game And One Away Game.
