    IPL Will Return To Its Old Home And Away Format In 2023, Confirmed Sourav Ganguly

    The Indian Premier League (IPL) Will Return To Its Original, Pre-COVID-19, Home-And-Away Format In The 2023 Season, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly Has Told The State-Affiliated Council.

    The IPL Has Been Held In Only A Few Venues Since The Outbreak Of COVID-19 In 2020, With The Tournament Being Held Behind Closed Doors In Three Locations In The United Arab Emirates - Dubai, Sharjah And Abu Dhabi. Also In 2021, The Tournament Was Held In Four Places: Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai And Chennai.


    However, With The Pandemic Under Control, The League Will Return To Its Old Format Of Each Team Playing One Home Game And One Away Game. "The Next Men's IPL Season Will Also Revert To The Home-And-Away Format With All 10 Teams Playing Their Home Matches At Designated Venues," Read A Letter From Ganguly To State Media.
