Pontevedra Club de Football, S.A.D. is a Spanish football team in Pontevedra, in the autonomous community of Galicia. Founded in 16 October 1941 it currently plays in Segunda Division B – Group 1, holding home matches at Estadio Municipal de Pasaron, with a capacity of 12,000 seats. Having enjoyed its heyday in the 1960s, it even reached the First Division, leading it during November and December 1965. The club was renowned at the top level for its performances against the bigger clubs, especially at home. Due to their history, fanbase, and stadium, os Granates are considered Galicia's third biggest club, behind Deportivo de La Coruna and Celta de Vigo, despite having spent the majority of recent decades in Spanish football's inferior categories.
