Leopard and its cubs, Black Panther straight from Jungle Book: See IFS officers' International Leopard Day posts

Today, on May 3, International Leopard Day is celebrated to make people aware of the beautiful nocturnal big cat that is found in Asia, sub-Saharan Africa, Southern Russia, and the Indian subcontinent.
Leopards are majestic creatures who are great climbers and can be seen in different sizes depending on their habitat.
But in recent times, their population is decreasing because of several external factors which make this day more important.
IFS officers Susanta Nanda and Parveen Kaswan shared some interesting posts about the day.
“The most prosecuted big cat & certainly gorgeous & urbanised.
Did you know that the Sanjay Gandhi National Park in Mumbai Metropolitan Region, has the highest documented density of leopards in the world,” read the caption.
