Apple is reportedly working on affordable AirPods and new-gen AirPods Max headphones.
The report notes, "Hon Teng (FIT), a Foxconn subsidiary, is taking over from Goertek, which will bring 'significant benefits' to the company.
This is not the first time that Apple is reported to be working on affordable AirPods.
It was reported that the third-generation AirPods are not performing well in the market, which is why the company is considering selling cheaper AirPods to attract more customers.
These may also lack wireless charging support, and the processor onboard could be an H1 chip that powers first-gen AirPods.
On the other hand, the Apple AirPods Max will have all the latest features.
