BlockFi files motion to return frozen crypto to wallet users
BlockFi, the leading crypto lending platform, has filed a motion in a US District Court to return the frozen crypto assets of its users. The New York Southern District Court froze the crypto assets of BlockFi customers in April of this year after a class-action lawsuit was filed against the company. The lawsuit alleged that BlockFi had engaged in unfair and deceptive conduct in relation to its services and pricing. BlockFi has now filed a motion to return the frozen crypto to its users, claiming that the court’s order was overly broad and violated their rights. The motion also claims that the court’s order was not necessary in order to protect the rights of the class members. If the motion is successful, the frozen crypto assets of BlockFi’s users will be returned to their respective wallets. Source: Cointelegraph
