Charges laid over alleged ‘crypto mining’ Ponzis that netted $8.4M
A group of seven individuals has been charged in Canada after allegedly running two Ponzi schemes related to cryptocurrency mining. According to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the scheme netted more than 8.4 million Canadian dollars (over $6.4 million) from over 700 victims.
