Achint Thakkar: The music is influenced by Pancham da’s work
Monica O My Darling composer Achint Thakkar on putting his modern music sensibilities aside to create songs reminiscent of bygone eras Achint Thakkar Given that he is a ’90s kid, musician Achint Thakkar admits that he had to put in a fair bit of toil to replicate music from the ’60s and ’70s for Rajkummar Rao's next, Monica O My Darling. Director Vasan Bala did not merely want elements of the music of the bygone eras in his film but asked the musician to create numbers that resembled the decades in their entirety.
